New York is full of interesting ways to travel. You run into them at every turn. Unusual taxis, boats, a seaplane and more. Have a look at the photos.

How do you get around New York? By subway, of course. I cannot imagine driving a car through the jammed streets of the center. This post is about the more exotic transport in New York.
Here are the earlier reports about the attractions:

Helicopters in New York

In theory helicopters are common enough. Against the scenery they flew through, they made quite a picture.

Downtown Manhattan Heliport (JRB)
Manhattan has three helicopter landing pads. Downtown Manhattan Heliport (JRB) sits at the east end of Wall Street. Two more: on the east side at 30th Street, and on the west side at 34th Street.

You can of course buy a helicopter flight over New York. Such a flight takes about 15-30 minutes and costs about 1000 PLN.
Boats in New York

During the cruise around Manhattan we saw all kinds of things afloat.

In the photo below a speedboat passes housing blocks in the background. Are they pretty?
In New York you can buy a ride on a pirate ship. Here is the link for anyone interested: „Clipper City – Manhattan by Sail”. There is wine on board. The whole trip without alcohol costs about 45$. Apparently it is very popular, so expect crowds.

Wrap-up
That is all! In 4 days you can really see a lot of New York. Just remember to eat a solid breakfast in the morning. Better to do it where you sleep. Make it yourself, or have it included in the price of the room. With so little time for sightseeing, do not spend the morning hunting for a place to eat.

At the end, a nice touch. A seaplane against New York apartment buildings. And one more thing, a somewhat gloomy place where the subway trains are parked.

I got the impression that outside Manhattan, New York has a completely different feel. Something dark is hiding there. People say it is better not to wander into places like Brownsville, Harlem or the Bronx.
